THE STRESS-FREE
STURGIS WEDDING
|
||
Each year, over 100 couples tie the knot at the Sturgis Rally in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Black Hills Wedding Chapel and staff have created pre-decorated looks for the couples to choose from. This form of "Stress Free" weddings is the goal of Rev. Faith Goehring and her staff of Ordained Ministers, Photographers, Flower/Decoration Creators, and Attendants/Witnesses.
The creations to choose from are The Rustic Restaurant at Stampmill Restaurant in Lead, three miles from Deadwood. Another creation is the Old Fashion Gazebo look hosted at Nemo Guest Ranch off of Highway 385. The most popular is “The Little Brown Church in the Woods” that must be traveled to on a back road of about 14 miles on gravel. Many couples love the historical streets of Deadwood where 1000's of bikes park every year. Bourbon Street Casino was the favorite choice of the 2006 rally wedding ceremonies on Main Street Deadwood. The final look for weddings during Sturgis bike rally is at local campgrounds that are located off of Interstate 90 at Iron Creek Inn or on Highway 385 at Steel Wheel Store and Campground.
This "Stress Free" Sturgis Rally Wedding Package was created as an off shoot of 2005 rally weddings when Rev. Faith Goehring performed 11 ceremonies. Only one of those were preplanned, the rest were walk-ins as a Vegas Wedding would be. This year, 2006, Rev. Faith and staff hosted 15 weddings for rally, two of those were walk-ins.
The couples cost is minimal and easy to handle for the historical event of Harley-Davidson Rally that has been created by such wonderful people that love the Black Hills as many of us who reside here share.
